Inter Churches Music Festival Rules and Guidelines
- The adjudicators’ decision is final and shall be respected.
- All choirs must register by 30th April. No choir shall be allowed to register after 30th, April. Registration fee shall be as indicated in the table of classes for the festival
- Choirs must submit their staff notation scores where relevant to for their compositions, arrangements choices e.t.c to the technical team by 8.a.m on the festival day.
- Choirs should seek clarifications and clear explanations where there is any doubt(s) to avoid inconveniences due lack of proper understanding of any guideline.
- The overall winner will be determined by the total marks for all the items. The overall winner will get the overall trophy in addition to individual item trophies.
- The choirs in overall position 1-4 together with the host for the next festival will qualify for the Super 5 competition in the following festival. In the event one of the qualifying choirs failing to participate in the festival, the technical committee shall have the discretion to make a determination on the way forward.
- Choirs must observe the minimum and maximum numbers of the singers as instructed.
- The festival shall begin at 8:00 a.m. All choirs shall be required to be assembled by 7.30am. Any choir that shall not take the stage after a third call shall be disqualified in the particular performance.
- The Inter Churches Festival is dynamic. the technical team may make changes as appropriate in subsequent festivals.
- The festival does not have any guaranteed presents, cash awards apart from the trophies awarded to the winning choirs. Should there be any additional presents/cash awards to the trophies, this will be communicated appropriately.
- Any materials, pictures, recordings presented and recorded during the festival shall be the property of the Inter Churches Must Festival.
